The Ohio Business Development Center (OBDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering small businesses across Ohio.
OBDC operates in collaboration with a network of seasoned professionals in legal matters, accounting, MBE/WBE/DBE certification, marketing, and comprehensive business consulting.
Our mission encompasses the development and coordination of a wide array of programs, including webinars, workshops, seminars, and personalized consultations, all aimed at bolstering the success of Ohio’s small businesses.
Additionally, OBDC offers specialized programs such as the Small Business Legal Aid at OBDC, which provides legal assistance to small business owners. Our OBDC Construction Academy offers training and resources to those in the construction industry, and our OBDC Planroom provides access to crucial project plans and documents.
Presently, OBDC proudly partners with key entities such as Franklin County, the City of Columbus, Columbus City Schools, and OhioMBE. These partnerships, along with our innovative programs, play a central role in our efforts to create economic opportunities and provide crucial training to empower Ohio’s small businesses, enabling them to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
